Testimonial from Halima Umaru Bagudu of Accelerate Labs North Central Region (Abuja)

Halima Umaru Bagudu is an architect and works with the Federal Capital Territory administration. She was part of Stream 1 for Accelerate Labs in North Central, Nigeria.

Speaking about the impact of the program, Halima says “3 months of quality training and exposure to current business models and tools has helped in identifying the problems that our product was trying to solve. It also gave us a chance to develop an award-winning pitch that could be presented to any group of investors.”

Continuing, she says “the need for a proper structure for any business was brought to the fore during the training programme. The experience gave us an opportunity to see other aspects of the business we did not know could be explored. And we have started to explore how we can develop new products along with our value proposition which is to, among other things promote the indigenous Nigerian snack industry.”
